Anchor Barrbuwa 1924 -1977 was a significant early artist from West Arnhem Land whose work is found in a number of institutional collections. It was purchased from the Church Missionary Society in Oenpelli, West Arnhem Land in 1969 by an American visiting Australia.    The painting is  in exceptional condition and framed behind glass
